The Experiment - Furred Canine-like VR Avatar

Presented here is the Experiment you play as from the game by Orsoniks called Casualties: Unknown!

...Or at least it's my 3D interpretation and reimagining of that fluffy critter! This avatar is derived from the 2D sprites you see in the game, with an emphasis on accuracy to how the character appears in-game, and moreover to a general realistic tone and style - with a healthy dose of cuteness on top to really pull on those heart strings and make you go "awww"! <3

This is a VR-ready rigged and textured character avatar model, made entirely in Blender. The avatar includes:

• Realistic and expressive talking visemes.
• A full set of eye and face tracking blendshapes.
• A variety of game-accurate clothing options and bandage wraps.
• A set of head variation models depending on if you want ears and fur tufts, or more lore-accurate furred spikes / horns.
• Round or slit pupil shape choice.
• An alternate albino texture set.
• A bonus set of objects and item 3D models from Casualties: Unknown (Life Pod, Drop Capsule, more to come too!).
• A very contagious smile. :)

Here is what comes with the avatar upon purchasing:

• A pre-setup .resonitepackage for instant drag-and-drop setup with Resonite.
• A pre-setup .unitypackage for importing and uploading into VRChat. (Thanks to Swefn!) Coming soon!
• A .blend file of the raw 3D assets for use with Blender (4.5) - textures are packed into the file as well.
• An .spp file for use with Adobe Substance Painter (2022). (Thanks to Sqiyfe!) Coming soon!

This fluffy critter is based fully on a character (and species) that you play as in Casualties: Unknown (also known as Scav Prototype). The game is a punishing 2D survival scavenger game which can be found here. Playing this game instantly got me extremely emotionally attached to the fluffy critters you play as, so much so that it inspired and motivated me to create this avatar you see here in a whopping 4 days. I strove to replicate the furred creature in 3D as best as I could given what's available to see in 2D - with a layer of cuteness on top, of course. I hope you enjoy this critter for yourself! I certainly feel happy when I see this one's adorable smile!
